.45 Peace Keeper is a tier 4 handgun in Wasteland 2.
Description[]
This monster keeps the peace, all right. The peace of the grave.
Characteristics[]
The weapon alerts enemies (generates noise) in a 18 unit radius.
A revolver with very impressive damage (for a handgun) and not-so-impressive AP cost of 6 that somewhat prevents its effective usage on characters you'd normally equip with pistols and revolvers (low-strength skill specialists). Unless a Ranger has at least 12 AP all they'd be able to do with a Peace Keeper is shoot once and move. It would have been a worthy weapon to pick if it at least had decent armor penetration, but it doesn't - the .45 Widow Maker found in the same part of the game is a way better gun to use, with 1/2 AP cost and higher total damage.
