The grandchild of the venerable AK-47, this weapon has seen more global conflict than any other rifle in history. Reliable, deadly, and cool looking - the perfect combination.

Created in the image of the legendary AK-47, the AK-97 is the latest in the assault rifle line. It was created for the Comintern Combine nations of Europe and Africa, but saw large distribution throughout the world before the war.[1] It is chambered for 7.62mm ammo and fires from a 30-round magazine. This highly-respected weapon is fairly commonplace.

The AK-97 is one of the top tier assault rifles in the game. If you can get it, keep it.
