Final Form is a quest in Cult of the Holy Detonation .

Background

The Proteus has transformed into their ultimate form. You must stop them before they unleast the Holy Detonation and spread radiation across all of Colorado.

Walkthrough

  • Four consoles on the central platform control the raising of cooling canisters in the four quadrants of the chamber. Raising the canisters will allow us to blow them up, which could damage the Proteus. Blowing up the cooling canisters won't do much if the Proteus isn't near them. We should lure them into range. The system automatically replaces the cooling canisters you've been destroying, but you'll have to refill them yourselves, using the nearby consoles. It's easier to actually open up all four containers, then lure Proteus to them one by one.
  • As you lure Proteus, Primordialists will start emerging from access hatches. To contain them, it's best to bring a couple of follower pets and deploy a couple mechanical assistants, like the Slicer Dicers (best), turrets, and more. Furthermore, remember that as long as a single piece of Proteus is within range of the canisters, you'll be able to freeze them properly. Once Proteus is hit four times, it will freeze and disintegrate, successfully completing the quest.

Raise a cluster of cooling canisters using a console.
Lure the Proteus near the cooling canisters and explode them.
Use the consoles near the canister locations to refill the replacement cooling canisters.
Continue attacking the Proteus with cooling canister explosions until they are defeated.
