The more refined cousin of the G3. It doesn't get much better than this for a combination of stopping power, fire rate and range.
The weapon alerts enemies (generates noise) in a 52 unit radius.
Simply put, it's M16 on roids. With its ridiculous (almost twice the FN-FAL's!) damage, range and decent Armor Penetration it makes for a perfect end-game weapon choice for your riflemen. Able to score up to 300+ damage if critical hits show up in a row, G41 easily outclasses most of the in-game arsenal, rivaled only by its sharpshooter's (.50 Anti-materiel rifle) counterpart - no other weapon has this much kick, except for the unique models (like The 3). When fully upgraded, G41 would make you seriously question the game balance... this, however, applies mainly to the original Wasteland 2.
In the Director's Cut this gun has had its insane damage rolled up even higher, but it doesn't really look all that significant since it's been done to practically every piece of top-tier weaponry in the game. You can easily stick to, for example, AK-97 or try the FN-FAL now.
