Hoons' Prized Rifle is an assault rifle in Wasteland 3.

Description

Someone has taken excellent care of this weapon. It's been scrupulously cleaned and thoughtfully customized. It was hand-made with exceptional care by Angus and Avie Hoon's son, Alistair, when he joined the Marshals, hoping that it would save his life. He fell in the line of duty while breaking up a bar brawl. Since then, it has remained a memento hanging above the fireplace at the Hoons' homestead.

Notes

• If equipped when you interact with Sheriff Daisy, she will accuse you of stealing her late deputies weapon. This results in -5 Reputation with the Patriarch's Marshals.
• Despite the fact that this is unique weapon it does not uses image with unique orange glow.
• This weapon has following attachments:

  • Reflex scope

Characteristics

Damage can be increased from various bonuses. However, it is not recommended to waste high-tier mods on this weapon, due to low damage output. Especially not recommended to use rare and expensive damage type conversion mods.
