|“||Rangers. I am Magistrate Silas Watkins. I have heard of your arrival... partly from the confessions of the Dorsey raiders. You'll be pleased to know that I sentenced them to death for their part in the attack on the city and your convoy.||”|
Magistrate Silas Watkins is a character in Wasteland 3.
This dour man looks out at the pillories with an expression of grim satisfaction. His sallow skin pulls tight over his face, and his thin lips press together in a hard line.
Watkins is the head judge of the Patriarch's nation and is responsible for passing out sentences according to Buchanan's law. He is a cold and unforgiving man, who executes the law with a firm, merciless hand. He isn't entirely above mercy: Those sentenced to die of cold may be granted a retrieve after frostbite claims their extremities.
Watkins is a man who claims to execute the law as proclaimed at the second founding of Colorado Springs, but as Marshal Kwon can attest, he actually enjoys the job and deciding people's lives, no matter the victims they claim.
