A heavy, pointed implement for chopping up earth and stone. Useful in a pinch as a nasty close combat weapon.

Uses

In Wasteland, you can use a pick ax for many tasks:

• In the mines near Quartz - you'll need someone with Metallurgy skill, however, to identify the silver vein for what it is so you can mine it. Useful as a source of cash for those who have a fetish for repetition.
• Use it in the Sewers beneath Las Vegas to hack through walls that sound hollow (saves you inventory slots for TNT). You can also use a Shovel or high ST for this task.
