Quarex is a character found in Rail Nomads camp, Boxcar A (Arcade) in Wasteland 2 and The Bizarre in Wasteland 3.
Background[]
A weedy young man with thick glasses and various old 8-bit game cartridges and controllers hung around his neck as a totems. He has Pac-Man tattooed on his forehead, just under his shaggy blond hair. He sports a neatly-trimmed, mustache-less goatee. Quarex collects ancient entertainment systems and offers them for viewing and enjoyment of visitors. By 2107, he has moved to The Bizarre in Colorado and set up an even larger and more ambitious museum there.

Details[]
- Locate an ancient machine called a "CD-i": The player can find a CDi machine for Quarex to complete his collection. The machine is sold by an antique stuff dealer in the Atchison camp.
- Quarex will pay 1000 for an ET the Extra Terrestrial Atari game cartridge, just one though.
- There is a small scope in a display case on the back wall of the arcade. Attempting to pick the lock will cause Quarex to grow increasingly hostile, finally ending with him telling the Rangers to take the scope and never speak to him again. Giving the scope back will cause him to relent.

Quarex has a quest after which he can be recruited as your museum curator, but only if you haven't already recruited Junko Murayama. Taking Quarex's tour and sitting through it is worth the achievement "Pre-Apocalyptic Tourist". |
- You can steal the Mega Scope energy sniper from his display case, though unlike in Wasteland 2, he doesn't seem to care.
- Inspecting the broken Slicer Dicer in his museum will net you a Slicer Dicer Self-Assembler.
- Cashing in your Tarjan Tokens at the fortune teller machine can grant whichever character is interacting with the machine some unique perks.
