Temple of Blood island is a location in the Temple of Blood.

This massive chamber consists of a great body of bloody water surrounding an island in the center. You stand on a small wooden dock at the south end of the chamber. To the north of you across the blood lies the island. You can just barely make out a large structure on it.

Points of interest[ | ]

You've fallen into it now. After your trip on the chessboard, you're across from the headquarters of the High Priest. You can raise Swim to 2 by moving across the water, although you can take damage from swimming in the blood (Kevlar vest is enough to absorb the damage). If you prefer to walk into the exterior walls while wading, you can get, one word per wall touch, the phrase 'You've got your balls to the walls.'. There are also five groups of glowing slimes along the walls.

Despite the fact that the area is crawling with enemies, no random encounters means that if you can find a spot away from active enemies, you can rest then and there. The snipers are on the corners of the island. Each drops a rifle; one drops an M1989A1 NATO assault rifle. They are unseen and unattackable until you close in on them. The outer gates on the island can be blown up with TNT or high Picklock (explosives spawn more enemies to kill).

You can avoid fighting the Auto Laser Turret by jumping over the pressure plates within the outer gates (it's not advised to step on them, since it's an extremely powerful enemy; however, it allows you to level up any ranged weapon skill up to 6). Each time you end in a tile on one side, you are asked if you wish to jump over. This includes after the first leap. Within are numerous patrols (fixed) that drop highly random loot bags that can contain multiple rockets, magazines, and even power packs.

The Blood Priest has the one, true Bloodstaff. Get this after unleashing full auto on everywhere inside the chamber. Return back to the starting dock and ascend the stairs to the Temple of Blood missile room.
