Nope, the way to tell the difference beweten books and magazines that give you perma stat boosts and only temp boosts is to go to the aids section in your pipboy and hover over the name. Wasteland 2 is the 2014 sequel to the 1988 post-apocalyptic role-playing video game Wasteland. It was developed at inXile Entertainment by Brian Fargo, Alan Pavlish, Ken St. Andre and Michael A. Stackpole, the original designers of Wasteland.

In 2003, InXile (founded by Wasteland's producer, Brian Fargo) acquired the rights to the Wasteland title from Konami, which held it in relation to the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise.
