Wasteland 2 weapon modifications[1] are upgrades for the various weapons the Rangers find in the wasteland. They can be bought from shops or created by field stripping weapons.
Stripping and modifying weapons requires Weaponsmithing. All weapon mods are considered rare items and theoretically stack in fives.
Mod compatibility[ | ]
Not all mods are compatible with all weapons. Brawling weapons, Grenades, Machine guns and Rocket launchers cannot apply any mods at all, while Bladed and Blunt weapons are limited to grip and weight mods. The rest conform to the following table:
