* The Rangers killed [[Rex]] and shot [[Robert Danforth|Bobby Danforth]].
* The Rangers recruited [[Ace]] and defeated [[Ugly]]. 
* The [[Guardians of the Old Order]] were wiped out with only a handful of survivors. 
* Base Cochise AI was defeated (obviously).
* The Rangers recruited [[Redhawk]], [[Mort]], [[Ralf]], and [[VAX]].

* Team Echo chose to save the [[Agricultural center (Wasteland 2)|ag center]] instead of [[Highpool (Wasteland 2)|Highpool]].
* Team Echo removed the Leather Jerks and restored law and order to [[Rodia]].
* Team Echo supported [[Ascension McDade]] against [[Malediction Mayweather]] and Mistress [[Veronica]], cleaning up Hollywood and bringing peace between it and the [[God's Militia]].
* [[Snake Vargas]] stayed behind to blow up the Ranger Citadel and defeat the resurgent Base Cochise AI.
* Team Echo recruited [[Neil Thomas|Brother Thomas]], [[Pistol Pete]], [[Takayuki]].

==Other titles==
While ''[[Fountain of Dreams]]'' was initially meant to be a sequel to ''Wasteland'', [[Electronic Arts]] eventually dropped any such official references. ''[[Fallout]]'' was also meant to be a sequel, but Interplay did not have the rights to make it one, so the only official connection are several references to ''Wasteland'' throughout ''Fallout'' games. Other than that, they take place in separate fictional universes.
